  4. My daughter is in Santa Cruz and when she went she’s a high anxiety patient and they at kind peoples didn’t even care she had a panic attack all they seemed to care about was that there place was full she’s been going there for a year and now she will never go back.

  24. I don’t know if people without headphones can hear this but there’s a fluttering sound in the background when you are at home. My tip is to keep wifi using electronics further away from the camera and turn off bluetooth (wich should all be turned off if you’re not using it!). If you don’t have a router that u can manually turn off wifi, you really should get one. Wifi signals are frying our cells, causing cancer. And don’t sleep with your phone next to you. Keep it at least 6 feet away. These new wifi signals at 5ghz are very powerful when you are near them. 2,4 ghz signals are harmful too but not as powerful but they have a further reach.

  28. I heard the best quote the other day regarding these absurd taxes, ” Cannabis should be subsidized, not taxed, because of all the good it does.” Isn’t that the truth?!? While I appreciate the new opportunities medical and recreational legalization creates, I dislike the “industry” being formed and the overall lack of compassion around the cannabis plant these days.

  29. Your microphone during the talking part has a weird audio flicker (listen with headphones). Only in the room when youre talking in front of the cali flag. Just a heads up for those with headphones, you wont notice with regular speakers or phone size speaker

  30. Those prices are insane, there’s cheaper shops around girl heh. You paid more than I ever paid in any illegal state west or east coast, for the same quality. I hope they give you a discount, especially with a tax on top of the crazy price heh. thats almost 15 to 20 a joint, aint nobody has time fadat

  32. The prices there are crazy!!!! In Washington the taxes are included and you can still get an eighth for only $35 and a gram of oil for only $25. Hopefully prices there will begin to drop a bit.

  35. High! Great video! Love your opinions and I agree. I also had no idea that we, as patients, are still able to purchase cannabis with our Recs. I was under the impression that it all ended on 1/1/18 and would only be recreational. Good to know.

  44. I’m going to wait 6 months, for growers to catch up and over-flood the dispensary with so much weed, so that the dispensary will be force to lower the prices, because those legal weed state tax almost $20 for a gram, or 100MG edible, is for chumps.

  56. so glad my state CA finally legalize marijuana. im more interest in the medical uses of the plant, but for everyone else, light up! haha. i just hope the federal government doesnt come after it, they better not, they will piss off a lot of people. we are moving toward country wide legalization, perhaps within 15-20 years.

  71. I’m a budtender in Colorado and I feel like a lot of medical patients take a personal offense to the taxation on recreational cannabis. I agree, the taxes are ridiculous but it’s a huge reason to why it was legalized and the money coming back into the state is great! Recreational shops are really meant for people that are visiting from other states with no/limited access and for people that are curious about cannabis but not dedicated enough to invest in a medical card or simply don’t have any of the illnesses required to get a medical card. Most recreational shops give a discount to medical patients to help with the tax but since pre-tax prices are already high and due to the lower limit on products/lower dosed edibles it’s rare for a patient to go to a recreational shop in the first place. There are a lot of really silly rules in the industry (including the plethora of warning labels and child-safety precautions) but it’s something I think we can all deal with for people to get the medicine they need without the commitment of a medical card. It’s really opening up the eyes of a lot of people and I’m glad more states are ending prohibition so access will become easier and hopefully the taxes will go down as well!

  72. 3:45 its time to start making homemade edibles. that sucks. I am an adult I think they should offer low mg options but I think that I should be able to buy super high doses if I want to, maybe they will come up with a refillable bottle and just make smaller containers so you can put 10 doses in one bottle if the sell them as 10 100mg 2 oz bottles then you would basically get a 20 oz 1000mg bottle.

If the tax is too high people will just buy from friends and not pay the tax quite honestly I am not against that but from an outside perspective it would look like people are buying off the streets. but since you can get a quarter in an illegal state for 90 but I am sure California state doesn’t want to have people leaving the state with it but at the same time if you can get a quarter from a friend for $50 instead of $120ish, the he gives you the pot and you give him $50 for something unrelated of course. they should realize if the taxes are high enough people still wont pay it, but does this mean that if you have cannabis on you in a bag or something else besides a dispensary container that they will still charge you with possession and potentially DUI? this is still not right, what if you grow it yourself and want to give it to a friend or drive “sober” somewhere with your cannabis do you have to go buy a whole new container even though you have plenty already? this is not right at all, I am glad that California has decided to legalize cannabis but it really seems like they are extending prohibition not ending it.

  81. You spent almost $150 on a 1/4 oz an a 100mg eddible that is ubsurd. I live in Sac too and am a medical patient and pay $150 -$180 for 1 top shelf oz. I won’t pay such a crazy price just its legal. Because now everyone who actually smokes and has a regular income is not going to give up the majority of there pay check to get barely anything. Instead it opens up the street market back up.The black market for weed was slowly starting to diminish with medical weed. Hello black market, welcome back.

  86. My only gripe with 64 is the tax on prop 215ers. They shouldnt havr to pay that 15% excise. I do hope however things get better in the next few months to a year when everything starts getting really sorted out. But it’s a step
